Ingredients:
- Fresh strawberries
- Granulated sugar
- All-purpose flour
- Baking powder
- Milk
- Butter, melted
- Vanilla extract
- Confectioners’ sugar
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix in the flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined.
- Gently fold in the milk and melted butter.
- Fold in the strawberries and mix until they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
- Pour the batter into a greased 8x8-inch baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool completely before dusting with confectioners’ sugar and serving.
