Ingredients:
- Fresh strawberries
- Sugar
- Lemon juice
- Sparkling water
- Whipped cream
Instructions:
- Wash and hull the strawberries.
- Cut the strawberries in half.
- In a large bowl, mix together the sugar and lemon juice until well combined.
- Add the strawberries to the bowl and toss them to coat them evenly with the sugar and lemon mixture.
- Let the mixture sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to allow the strawberries to macerate.
- Use a slender spoon to portion out small scoops of the mixture onto plates or glasses.
- Top each scoop with a dollop of whipped cream.
