Ingredients:

  • Blackberries
  • Heavy cream
  • Sugar
  • Lemon juice
  • Vanilla extract
  • Salt
  • Fresh mint leaves

Instructions:

  1. Rinse the blackberries and remove any stems or debris.
  2. In a blender or food processor, puree the blackberries until smooth.
  3. Transfer the blackberry puree to a medium saucepan.
  4. Add the heavy cream, sugar, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and salt to the saucepan.
  5. Whisk the mixture together over medium heat until the sugar has dissolved.
  6. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes or until the mixture has thickened slightly.
  7. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the fresh mint leaves.
  8. Let the mixture cool to room temperature before serving.
