Ingredients:
- Beef strips
- Vegetable oil
- Onions
- Garlic
- Paprika
- Carrots
- Celery
- Tomato paste
- Red wine
- Chicken broth
- Salt
- Pepper
- Bay leaves
Instructions:
- Heat vegetable oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat.
- Add onions and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Add beef strips and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
- Add paprika, carrots, celery, tomato paste, red wine, chicken broth, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 1 1/2 hours, or until the beef is tender.
- Remove the bay leaves and season with additional salt and pepper if desired.
