Ingredients:

Fresh or frozen cranberries, sugar, orange juice, Grand Marnier, heavy cream, vanilla extract, salt

Instructions:

Here are the instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Rinse the cranberries and pick out any stems or debris.
  3. In a medium saucepan, combine the cranberries, sugar, orange juice, and Grand Marnier.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until the cranberries have popped and the mixture has thickened slightly.
  5. Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a clean bowl, pressing on the solids to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the solids.
  6. Whisk in the heavy cream and vanilla extract until well combined.
  7. Stir in the salt until dissolved.
  8. Pour the cranberry sauce into an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight before serving.
  9. Just before serving, give the mixture a good stir to redistribute the flavors.
  10. Serve chilled, garnished with orange zest if desired.
