Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
- In a medium-sized bowl, mix together the blueberries and granulated sugar.
- Add the cornstarch to the mixture and stir until well combined.
- Gradually add the water to the mixture and stir until smooth.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and salt.
- Pour the mixture into a saucepan and place over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 5-7 minutes or until the mixture thickens.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and let it cool slightly.
- Pour the blueberry mixture into individual serving cups or a large baking dish.
