- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Juice of 1 lime
- Zest of 1 orange
Instructions:
Step 1: Season the chicken breasts with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
Step 2: Dredge the seasoned chicken breasts in flour, shaking off any excess.
Step 3: Dip the floured chicken breasts in the buttermilk, making sure they are fully coated.
Step 4: Dredge the chicken breasts in the flour mixture again, pressing the coating onto the meat to ensure it adheres properly.
Step 5: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Step 6: Add the lime juice and orange zest to the skillet and stir to combine.
Step 7: Place the chicken breasts in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Step 8: Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
