Ingredients:
- 1 lb beef sirloin
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, peeled and grated
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup sake
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Step 1: Slice the beef sirloin into thin strips.
Step 2: Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Step 3: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and grated ginger and sauté for 1 minute, or until fragrant.
Step 4: Add the ground cumin, smoked paprika, chili powder, soy sauce, and sake to the skillet and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the mixture is heated through.
Step 5: Return the cooked beef to the skillet and toss to coat with the spice and soy sauce mixture.
Step 6: Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 7: Serve immediately, garnished with sliced green onions or scallions if desired. Enjoy!
