Ingredients:

Blackberries Sugar Water Lemon juice Granulated sugar White wine vinegar Simple syrup

Instructions:

  1. Wash the blackberries and remove any stems or debris.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine blackberries, sugar, water, lemon juice, granulated sugar, and white wine vinegar.
  3. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until sugar has dissolved and mixture is warm.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 10-15 minutes or until the blackberries have broken down and the mixture has thickened.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  6. Stir in simple syrup until well combined.
  7. Use immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
