Instructions:
- Wash the blackberries and remove any stems or debris.
- In a medium saucepan, combine blackberries, sugar, water, lemon juice, granulated sugar, and white wine vinegar.
- Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until sugar has dissolved and mixture is warm.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 10-15 minutes or until the blackberries have broken down and the mixture has thickened.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Stir in simple syrup until well combined.
- Use immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
