Ingredients:
- Fresh strawberries
- Chocolate chips
- Heavy cream
- Sugar
- Vanilla extract
Instructions:
Step 1: Wash and hull the strawberries. Step 2: Melt the chocolate chips in a double boiler or in the microwave in 30-second increments, stirring between each interval until smooth. Step 3: In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until it forms stiff peaks. Set aside. Step 4: In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and vanilla extract to make the simple syrup. Stir until the sugar is dissolved. Step 5: Assemble the dessert by layering the whipped cream on top of the melted chocolate in a glass or metal container. Top with sliced strawberries and drizzle the simple syrup over the top. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
