Ingredients:

  • Grapefruit
  • Fresh basil
  • White rum
  • Lime juice
  • Simple syrup

Instructions:

  1. Cut the grapefruit in half and squeeze the juice into a bowl.
  2. Muddle the fresh basil leaves with a spoon to release their oils.
  3. Add the white rum and lime juice to the bowl with the grapefruit juice and stir until well combined.
  4. Add the simple syrup to the mixture and stir again.
  5. Strain the mixture into cocktail glasses and garnish with additional basil leaves or a slice of grapefruit, if desired.
