Ingredients:

  • Gouda cheese

Instructions:

  1. Grate the Gouda cheese.
  2. Mix the grated cheese with flour.
  3. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thickness.
  5. Use a cookie cutter or a glass to cut out circles of dough.
  6. Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture in the center of each circle.
  7. Fold the dough over the filling and press the edges together to seal.
  8. Use a fork to crimp the edges for decoration.
  9. Brush the tops with beaten egg and bake at 375°F for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
