Ingredients:

  • Fresh strawberries
  • Heavy cream
  • Granulated sugar
  • Vanilla extract
  • Large eggs
  • Unsalted butter
  • Milk

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine strawberries, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix well until the strawberries are evenly coated with the sugar mixture.
  3. Pour the mixture into a baking dish and place it in the oven.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the strawberries are tender and lightly browned.
  5. In a separate mixing bowl, beat the eggs and add the heavy cream. Mix well until the mixture is smooth and free of any lumps.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over the baked strawberries in the baking dish.
  7. Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the top is lightly browned and the eggs are set.
  8. Remove the baking dish from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
  9. Dust the top of the dessert with unsalted butter and serve immediately.
