Ingredients:
- Mango puree
- Peppermint extract
- Lime juice
- Simple syrup
Instructions:
- In a small saucepan, combine mango puree and peppermint extract. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture is well combined and warmed through.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in lime juice and simple syrup.
- Return the saucepan to the heat and bring the mixture to a simmer, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture cook for 5-7 minutes, or until it has thickened slightly.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and let it cool to room temperature.
- Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a clean container. Discard any solids.
- Store the mixture in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
