Ingredients:
- Lemons, fresh
- Mint leaves
- White rum
- Sparkling water
- Simple syrup
- Lime juice
Instructions:
- Cut the lemons into wedges and place them in a large pitcher.
- Add the mint leaves to the pitcher and muddle (gently press) them with a muddler or spoon to release their oils and flavor.
- Pour the white rum over the lemons and mint leaves in the pitcher.
- Top off the pitcher with sparkling water.
- Stir the mixture gently to combine the ingredients.
- Add the simple syrup (equal parts sugar and water, dissolved) to the pitcher and stir to combine.
- Squeeze the lime juice into the pitcher and stir again.
- Serve the drink in glasses over ice, garnished with additional mint leaves or lemon wedges if desired.
