- Lavender buds
- Heavy cream
- Sugar
- Vanilla extract
- Unsalted butter
- Egg whites
Instructions:
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
Step 2: In a medium-sized mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream and sugar until the sugar has dissolved.
Step 3: Add the vanilla extract to the mixture and whisk until well combined.
Step 4: In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until they become frothy.
Step 5: Add the beaten egg whites to the cream mixture and gently fold until no white streaks remain.
Step 6: Pour the mixture into a greased 8-inch (20cm) round cake pan.
Step 7: Place the cake pan in the preheated oven and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the cake is set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
