Ingredients:
- 2 ripe mangoes
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice
- 1/4 cup simple syrup (equal parts water and granulated sugar, dissolved)
- Splash of grenadine
- Ice cubes
Instructions:
- Peel and chop the mangoes into small pieces.
- In a blender or food processor, combine the mango pieces, basil leaves, yogurt, pineapple juice, simple syrup, and grenadine.
- Blend the mixture until smooth and creamy.
- Taste and adjust the sweetness level as needed by adding more simple syrup or a splash of grenadine.
- Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the mango basil smoothie over the ice.
- Stir well to combine and garnish with additional basil leaves or a sprinkle of granulated sugar, if desired.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
