Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe mangoes
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup (equal parts water and granulated sugar, dissolved)
  • Splash of grenadine
  • Ice cubes

Instructions:

  1. Peel and chop the mangoes into small pieces.
  2. In a blender or food processor, combine the mango pieces, basil leaves, yogurt, pineapple juice, simple syrup, and grenadine.
  3. Blend the mixture until smooth and creamy.
  4. Taste and adjust the sweetness level as needed by adding more simple syrup or a splash of grenadine.
  5. Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the mango basil smoothie over the ice.
  6. Stir well to combine and garnish with additional basil leaves or a sprinkle of granulated sugar, if desired.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
