- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs

Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Line a 9x13-inch baking dish with parchment paper or aluminum foil, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Using an electric mixer, beat the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the milk and vanilla extract.
- With the mixer on low speed, gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
