Ingredients:
- Fresh cranberries
- Granulated sugar
- All-purpose flour
- Cold butter, cut into small pieces
- Heavy cream
- Vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Confectioners’ sugar
Instructions:
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
Step 2: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, combine the granulated sugar and flour.
Step 4: Add the cold butter to the dry ingredients and use your fingers or a pastry blender to work it into the mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
Step 5: In a separate bowl, whisk together the heavy cream and vanilla extract.
Step 6: Pour the wet ingredients over the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
Step 7: Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch (6 mm) thickness.
Step 8: Cut into desired shapes using a cookie cutter or a knife.
Step 9: Place the cookies on the prepared baking sheet and sprinkle with a pinch of salt and a dusting of confectioners’ sugar.
Step 10: Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden brown.
