Ingredients:

  • Honeydew melon
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • White rum
  • Lime juice
  • Simple syrup
  • Club soda

Instructions:

  1. Cut the honeydew melon into wedges and place on a cutting board.
  2. In a small bowl, muddle (or mash) the fresh basil leaves with a spoon until they are well-crushed.
  3. Add the crushed basil to the cut honeydew melon wedges and toss gently to combine.
  4. Pour the white rum over the melon mixture and toss again to coat.
  5. Squeeze the lime juice over the mixture and toss one last time.
  6. Stir the simple syrup into the mixture until well-combined.
  7. Pour the club soda over the mixture and gently stir to combine.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
