Ingredients:
- Fresh figs
- Lemons
- Sugar
- Water
Instructions:
- Wash the fresh figs and pat them dry with a clean towel.
- Cut the lemons in half and juice them using a manual or electric juicer.
- In a small saucepan, combine the lemon juice, sugar, and water. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar has dissolved.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5-7 minutes or until the syrup has thickened slightly.
- Remove the syrup from the heat and let it cool to room temperature.
- Stir in the fresh figs and toss them to coat them evenly with the syrup.
- Serve the figs immediately, garnished with a sprinkle of sugar on top.
