Ingredients:

  • Fresh cranberries
  • Granulated sugar
  • All-purpose flour
  • Baking powder
  • Salt
  • Cold butter, cut into small pieces
  • Eggs
  • Cream cheese
  • Vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it lightly.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  7. Fold in the cranberries and cream cheese until they are evenly coated with the dough.
  8. Drop rounded spoonfuls of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches (5 cm) of space between each cookie.
  9. Bake for 12-14 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden brown.
  10. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
