Ingredients:
- Fresh cranberries
- Granulated sugar
- All-purpose flour
- Baking powder
- Salt
- Cold butter, cut into small pieces
- Eggs
- Cream cheese
- Vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it lightly.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the cranberries and cream cheese until they are evenly coated with the dough.
- Drop rounded spoonfuls of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches (5 cm) of space between each cookie.
- Bake for 12-14 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
