Ingredients:

  • Fresh strawberries
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Lime juice
  • White rum
  • Club soda
  • Simple syrup

Instructions:

  1. Rinse the fresh strawberries and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  2. In a blender or food processor, puree the strawberries until smooth.
  3. Strain the pureed strawberries through a fine-mesh sieve into a medium bowl, discarding any seeds or pulp.
  4. Add the fresh basil leaves and lime juice to the bowl with the strained strawberry puree.
  5. Mix well until the basil is evenly distributed throughout the strawberry mixture.
  6. Stir in the white rum and club soda until well combined.
  7. Add the simple syrup to the mixture and stir until dissolved.
  8. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
