- Fresh strawberries

- Club soda

Instructions:
- Rinse the fresh strawberries and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- In a blender or food processor, puree the strawberries until smooth.
- Strain the pureed strawberries through a fine-mesh sieve into a medium bowl, discarding any seeds or pulp.
- Add the fresh basil leaves and lime juice to the bowl with the strained strawberry puree.
- Mix well until the basil is evenly distributed throughout the strawberry mixture.
- Stir in the white rum and club soda until well combined.
- Add the simple syrup to the mixture and stir until dissolved.
- Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
