Ingredients:

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1/4 cup blue food coloring

Instructions:

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until sugar has dissolved.
  2. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with cold water until smooth. Stir into the cream mixture and continue heating for another 2-3 minutes, or until the mixture thickens.
  3. Remove saucepan from heat and stir in blue food coloring until combined.
  4. Pour mixture into a clean glass jar or container and let cool to room temperature before serving.
  5. Store any leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
