Ingredients:
- Fresh strawberries
- Fresh mint leaves
- Bourbon whiskey
- Simple syrup
- Ice
Instructions:
- Rinse and hull the strawberries.
- In a blender or food processor, puree the strawberries until smooth.
- Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a large bowl, pressing on the solids to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the solids.
- Add the bourbon whiskey and simple syrup to the strained strawberry liquid and stir until combined.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the mixture. Shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds to combine and chill the ingredients.
- Strain the mixture into chilled glasses filled with ice. Garnish each glass with a fresh mint leaf.
