Ingredients:

  • Fresh peaches
  • Sweet serrano peppers

Instructions:

  1. Chop the fresh peaches into small pieces.
  2. Remove the seeds and membranes from the sweet serrano peppers and chop them finely.
  3. In a medium saucepan, combine the chopped peaches and peppers with enough water to cover them.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes or until the peaches are tender.
  5. Use an immersion blender or a regular blender to puree the mixture until smooth.
  6. Strain the pureed mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a clean container. Discard any solids.
  7. Add honey or maple syrup to taste and stir until well combined.
  8. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
